This Napoleon Travel Q grill is a great portable BBQ, especially if you have limited storage space in your RV or camping setup. When not in use, it folds up to an extremely compact footprint, yet when cooking, it performs like a backyard grill. It comes with a heavy duty cast iron grill surface which does make the grill heavier than the cheaper house brand BBQs that I used to use. The tradeoff is much more even cooking, as that heavy grill really helps to distribute the heat from the single burner.
Other notable features: the propane mount is solid and supports the cylinder without it having to rest on a table, which makes it possible to cook anywhere; for example, on my trailer's bike rack! The regulator (the device that you turn to adjust the heat) feels very smooth and solid, but the ink that marks the temperature settings has smeared off after two years of heavy use. The igniter has been very reliable, although it always lights on the second try (never one try, never three tries LOL).

This small folding grill sears meat to seal in the juices and produces restaurant style grill marks (as long as you give it a few minutes to heat up before you start cooking). At max heat, it's easy to burn veggies, so make sure you keep an eye on your food: this thing has some real cooking power.

In addition to our own camping trips, our Napoleon TQ1165PO goes out on our trailer rentals, so this portable BBQ has been used virtually non-stop throughout two camping seasons. This travel grill has held up well: the cooking grates still look like new. The finish on the outside has discoloured a bit, but this has no impact on performance.

Prior to this unit, I've owned multiple inexpensive tabletop grills, and the performance of this portable BBQ has been far superior to those units so far. I'd definitely recommend upgrading to the Napoleon TQ1165PO grill or one of it's larger stablemates if you have more storage space in your camp setup.
